From product manager to full stack builder
Julia Di Sclafani has no technical background. Today she codes half her day in Claude and built the website her company had postponed for three years.
Julia Di Sclafani is 33 and works at Health Tech Media GmbH, a health company whose main products are a newsletter and online seminars. She has been there for four months. She has no technical background, she studied communications management.
"I got fully into coding, and honestly I had never done it before."
The website that sat there for three years
When Julia joined the team, one item had been sitting unresolved for years: the outdated website. An agency helps with the design, the in house designer is overloaded and has barely any time. So she made a decision.

"It struck me, okay, I can either wait for the agency and design to deliver the things I ask for, or I just start. Let me put my briefing into the AI and see whether I can get a usable result myself, and then have the agency or the designer just take a look over it."
The result?
"Surprisingly good."
She built the context for it herself: brand book, guidelines, everything she could find in the company in terms of design documents, fed into the AI as skills and project files.
No technical background
The substructure, the clickability, the design elements, she set them up herself. Not commissioned, built herself.
"The entire substructure, clickability and the design elements I set up myself and coded with Claude, and I check them for usability myself too."
A project that had been on the table for three years, she got it done, and saved the company agency and design money.

What Julia describes has a name in the AI world: full stack builder. She is no longer dependent on an engineering team and no longer dependent on a designer. She identifies what needs to be built, and then builds it herself.
"I feel more like an agent who looks at all the construction sites and then works through them one after another."

The fact that her company is small helps. Four people, she is the only full time employee, and that is exactly why she can work this way. Throwing things away and rebuilding is part of it for her.
"I built something first and then I threw it in the bin again and thought about how I could do it better. It does sting for a moment, but I think that is how life is."

"I send a screenshot of my tasks and ask, would you change anything about the prioritization. I think it through myself first, but then I often ask the AI for an opinion."
"We have newsletters, I just put the newsletter into Claude and say, turn the most important insights into a carousel post. Then I get five slides straight away."
The biggest aha moment
"Preparing the information for the AI so that it delivers the optimal output for my use case. And that you cannot just type in something quickly like on Google, but that you can improve the AI with a plan and a strategy."
